The gum tissue surrounding the teeth, play a very important role in our beauty and health of the whole body. They are often overlooked in regard to these areas but we try not to forget about them to be more handsome and maintain an iron.
Once the health of the gums and supporting structures of teeth have deteriorated (gingivitis or periodontal disease) can be extremely difficult to reverse the damage. People with poor oral health may suffer an inflammatory process affecting the whole body. Oral health must be maintained to prevent other chronic diseases. The flossing and brushing several times, are the most used strategies to avoid these problems, but there are others.
As with almost all that is related to the body, the diet will have an important role. The consumption of refined sugar in processed foods like sweets, white flour and cake will devastate the teeth and gums. Given the massive amounts of processed foods available, our diet, dental care and flossing are a necessity.
Coenzyme Q10 is important for healthy gums. This vitamin fuels the engine of all our cells, the mitochondria. Other nutrients may also be beneficial for people with these problems. Different studies have shown that when vitamin E is depleted the gum tissue can become ill. Xylitol can help our mouths to have better health. Xylitol is a sweet substance found in many sources, including chewing gum.
